Has a long burn time on a two readily available batteries. Is incredibly durable - there are no wires, solder joints, or circuit boards to break. The LED is completely enclosed and protected from impact and abuse. Is visible from all angles because all disk surfaces are illuminated - the top deck glows, there is a radiant array on the concave underside, and there are nine laser-like dots on the perimeter of the rim.
